    Tournament Info.

Tournaments are held 2 times a year. The events are only open to students in our program. Students need to participate in a minimum of 3 program tournaments to receive their black belts.
We have tons of fun and everyone leaves a winner.

Requirements regarding program tournaments to be eligible for
Black Belt in our program

     Females:    2 Sparring & 1 Forms or 3 sparring
     Male:         3 Sparring

Our tournaments are designed to help students overcome the fear and anxiety of sparring and competition. No one walks away empty handed. That being said everyone gets the opportunity to try new things and use the kicks and techniques they've learned in class.

Ask anyone who has participated and they will tell you that it is a good experience. Participants receive trophies and medals. The students are supervised by Black Belt ring judges and referees.

White Belts through Black Belts can compete. Like the Koreans, we refer to this competition as:     "Playing Taekwondo"   so have fun !!

We practice similar rules and methods as those used in the TKD Olympic Games !

Taekwondo is the Korean National Sport and an Olympic Sport. Our students are eligible to try out for the Olympic Team as members of the World Taekwondo Federation headquartered in Seoul Korea.
